Part-Time | Nursing Assistant (STNA)

Schedule:

Positions include every other weekend and every other holiday

Available Shifts:

  1. 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  2. 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  3. 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

*Same Day Pay Available*

Education Required:

  1. Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
  2. Current, active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification through the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry

The Difference You'll Make

  1. Provide direct, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
  2. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  3. Safely transfer and reposition residents using appropriate techniques and equipment (gait belts, mechanical lifts, etc.)
  4. Monitor and promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  5. Respond to call lights, phone inquiries, and in-person requests in a timely and professional manner
  6. Support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect
  7. Collaborate with nurses and care team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
  8. Promote a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and team members

Qualifications:

Education Required:

  1. Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
  2. Current, active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification through the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry

Experience Preferred:

  1. Previous experience in long-term care, transitional care, assisted living, or memory care settings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Ability to pass required background checks and reference screening
  2. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  3. Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete assignments independently
  4. Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
  5. Awareness of and sensitivity to residents' individual needs and abilities
  6. Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
  7. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
