We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner for a* long-term contract position asking for a 3 day/wk hybrid schedule onsite in Denver, CO. Our client is a large, highly regulated financial organization* undergoing a major customer-facing portal migration. This role is ideal for a Product Owner who enjoys complex problem-solving, data-heavy work, and partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver meaningful customer outcomes. This is a migration-focused role, not net-new development. The work centers on moving customers, permissions, and data from legacy platforms into a modern, customized portal environment. Why this role stands out * Clear project scope with a defined end state * Strong SAFe Agile team with high accountability * Heavy collaboration that's designed to feel co-located * Meaningful customer impact during a critical transition What you'll be doing * Partner with Product Managers to execute roadmap delivery * Translate epics and features into detailed user stories in Azure DevOps * Support PI planning, sprint execution, backlog prioritization, and testing * Drive customer and data migration efforts including mapping and validation * Collaborate closely with engineers, data teams, and UX * Analyze customer feedback and identify migration risks or gaps What I'm looking for * 3-5 years of Product Owner experience * SAFe Agile and PI Planning experience * Strong experience in application or data migration * Experience with customer portals, permissions, or login structures * Comfortable understanding technical details independently * Tools: Azure DevOps, Microsoft Suite; ServiceNow helpful * Salesforce / CRM exposure is a plus Logistics * 6month contract with strong extension potential (up to ~18 months) * 40 hrs/week, no overtime * Hybrid onsite Tuesday-Thursday * Local Denver-area candidates only Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $63.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
