Summary: The Accountant will assist with the monthly closing process, preparation of Journal Entries, assist with AP/AR/Inventory issues and development of various financial and management reports of business performance using Power BI. The Accountant assists in the implementation and maintenance of finance policies, SOX controls and monthly reporting.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of general accounting experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various levels of employees.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Advance skills in Excel, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP's, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and 10 key.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports month-end and quarter-end closing.
• Prepares various journal entries and performs monthly accounts reconciliation to ensure compliance with company accounting standards.
• Prepares California sales and use tax filing.
• Performs customer and vendor setup.
• Assists with AP hold issues.
• Assists in other financial projects, prepares timely accounting and ad hoc reports as requested.
• All other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

The environment is both office and manufacturing. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Work Arrangement : Hybrid option after successful training completion and approval.

Pay Range: $71,000.00 - $76,000.00 annually

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
