VERTEX PHARMACEUTICALS Data Technology & Engineering (DTE) POSITION DESCRIPTION Title/Role: General Summary The Associate Director, DTE Business Engagement Lead for Real Estate, Facilities and Operations Systems is a technical leadership role responsible for driving the digital transformation of Real Estate, Facilities, and Operations systems across the organization. This technical leader will partner with business stakeholders to define and execute the roadmap for AI-enabled solutions, smart building technologies, workplace systems, and data-driven operational improvements that enhance performance, efficiency, user experience, and compliance. The Associate Director is responsible for the design, development, support, maintenance, and future technical roadmap of the systems within scope. This role will support the broader Real Estate and Facilities portfolio, including application lifecycle, office expansions, new office openings, and M&A-related integration activities. They will be responsible for project delivery, detailed project plans and budget management. The role partners closely with Real Estate, Facilities, Engineering, DTE/IT, EH&S, Security, Procurement, and other business stakeholders to modernize systems, optimize operations, and deliver scalable innovation across the built environment portfolio. The Associate Director will lead the evaluation, implementation, integration, and governance of technologies supporting facilities operations, space and occupancy management, maintenance, energy optimization, and workplace experience. #LI-HYBRID Pay Range: $172,000 - $258,000Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting.
