POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations by managing and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. They will supervise, measure, and continuously improve all inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movement. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to operational procedures. * Supervision, training, and direction of warehouse operations including picking/packing, shipping, receiving, put away, and inventory control functions. * Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed. * Assist in setting controls, monitor operating capacity, and adjust work assignments to fulfill commitments to meet overall operational goals and objectives. * Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement. * Meet, measure, and report KPI's to Operations Manager on scheduled cadence. * Responsible to help oversee the Warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. * Assist in leading continuous improvement initiatives. * Assist in implementing lean ideas and 5S activities. * Support Manager of Warehouse Operations in maintaining expenses in line with Annual Operating Plan. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to operational procedures. * Supervision, training, and direction of warehouse operations including picking/packing, shipping, receiving, put away, and inventory control functions. * Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed. * Assist in setting controls, monitor operating capacity, and adjust work assignments to fulfill commitments to meet overall operational goals and objectives. * Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement. * Meet, measure, and report KPI's to Operations Manager on scheduled cadence. * Responsible to help oversee the Warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. * Assist in leading continuous improvement initiatives. * Assist in implementing lean ideas and 5S activities. * Support Manager of Warehouse Operations in maintaining expenses in line with Annual Operating Plan. * High School Diploma or equivalent * Bachelor/Associates degree in Logistics, Business or related field a plus * 3+ years successfully supervising a warehouse team of 10+ * Proficient in Microsoft suite * Warehouse Management software, WMS, TMS and Oracle experience a plus * Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure * Excellent interpersonal, leadership and conflict resolution skills * Critical thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Procurement, Traffic and other teams as required WHY JOIN OUR TEAM:
