Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation for Interventional Pulmonary ranges from $380,000 - $450,000. The posted UC salary scales set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: May 6, 2026 Next review date: Saturday, Jun 6, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, May 5, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) is seeking a full-time Interventional Pulmonologist for appointment in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series and/or Professor of Clinical Medicine series at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, commensurate with experience. * Inpatient and outpatient clinical care at UC Irvine Medical Center (Orange), UC Irvine Hospital (Irvine), and affiliated community clinics * Criteria for the Professor of Clinical "X" Series: The incumbent will be expected to conduct substantial research; provide patient care; teach fellows, residents, and medical students; and perform public and University service. Excellent teaching is essential criteria for appointment in this series. * Criteria for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service.
