Job Description

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting project planning, coordination, execution, and stakeholder engagement activities across facility and infrastructure-related initiatives. You will be responsible for managing schedules, tracking project milestones, coordinating cross-functional efforts, supporting budgeting and reporting activities, and ensuring deliverables align with customer expectations, contractual requirements, and organizational objectives. You will work closely with project teams, senior leadership, customers, contractors, and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on schedule, improve operational efficiency, and support successful project execution throughout the full project lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of facility and infrastructure-related projects from initiation through completion
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items to ensure successful project execution
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, technical personnel, and cross-functional stakeholders to support project requirements and operational objectives
  • Monitor project performance related to cost, schedule, scope, and quality; identify risks and support mitigation strategies
  • Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and status updates for leadership and stakeholders
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, reports, briefings, and technical deliverables
  • Support customer engagement activities and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate meetings, site visits, working groups, and project reviews to ensure alignment across project teams
  • Track and manage action items, project dependencies, and follow-on tasks to support timely completion of project objectives
  • Support proposal development, capture activities, and preparation of technical and management documentation, as required
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, organizational processes, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of operational efficiencies
  • Provide administrative and operational support for facility planning, modernization, sustainment, and infrastructure initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and execution of customer priorities
  • Maintain accurate project records, data tracking tools, and reporting metrics to support decision-making and program visibility

Job Requirements
Must Have

  • Abilityto acquire DOD Clearance
  • 5+ years of project management, operations management, or program support experience supporting complex projects or government/DoD environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as installation drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
General knowledge of the Training System Installation Plan (TSIP), and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) documents
Working knowledge of NAVFAC procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and comfortable speaking in group settings.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members and upper management.
Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Strong Visio experience preferred.
