What you'll do:

As a Digital Asset Product Manager, Senior you'll lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of Western Alliance Bank's digital asset The Senior Product Manager - Institutional Digital Asset Wallets is responsible for defining, developing, and managing wallet capabilities supporting institutional digital asset clients, including custody integrations, transaction workflows, and asset servicing functionality.
This role owns the product strategy and execution of wallet infrastructure within Digital Asset Banking (DAG), ensuring alignment with client requirements, operational capabilities, and regulatory expectations. The position partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC), and Risk to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
  • Define and execute product strategy for institutional wallet capabilities
  • Develop and manage product roadmap aligned with platform priorities and client demand
  • Identify and prioritize features supporting custody, transfers, and asset lifecycle management
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle (requirements, development, launch, iteration)
  • Develop detailed product requirements and user stories
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver secure and scalable solutions
  • Ensure wallet functionality aligns with BSA/AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring frameworks
  • Incorporate control requirements into product design in coordination with FCC and Risk
  • Partner with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Relationship teams
  • Ensure integration with onboarding, monitoring, and settlement processes
  • Monitor product performance and adoption metrics
  • Drive enhancements to improve scalability, usability, and operational efficiency
  • Support audit, regulatory examination, and governance processes

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years of related experience in Product Management, Treasury Management Sales or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of general financial services or banking products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of banking products, including treasury management, credit cards, as well as pricing dynamics. Market specific awareness.
  • Advanced experience with Product Management Methodology including new product launches, road mapping, business cases, product enhancements, communication and marketing plans, and robust executive management presentations and reporting development.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
