About the Opportunity

Provide comprehensive support to the Sales Team in domestic technology sales, including software, hardware, and consumables, from initial communication through system implementation. Strategically manage equipment sales activities to meet or exceed annual targets while ensuring a seamless experience for internal and external customers. Collaborate closely with the equipment support team and vendors on tasks related to equipment sales. Independently make decisions on inventory, fulfillment, promotions, and pricing for equipment sales.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Develop comprehensive software and hardware proposals.
  • Make independent decisions regarding pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of promotions and special offers.
  • Utilize creative thinking to expand the technology product line and enhance sales performance.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of Argen's technology products and services, actively engaging in upselling and cross-selling related items, such as zirconia, 3D printing resins, and consumables.
  • Make strategic stock decisions to ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Team to meet inventory needs that align with sales demands. Coordinate with vendors to address special requests, inventory requirements, and portal updates.
  • Communicate with vendors per direction from the Business Unit Manager, Lab Sales.
  • Manage and maintain equipment data within Argen.com and SFDC platforms.
  • Create, update, and manage equipment SKUs.
  • Update SharePoint with current information, including pricing, promotions, quarterly adjustments, and trade show specials.
  • Provide actionable feedback to enhance the usability, engagement, and retention metrics of the Argen website.
  • Log activities systematically and maintain effective communication with management and customers.
  • Prioritize and resolve inbound account inquiries, following established processes to ensure timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team and other departments to ensure transparency and alignment in account interactions.
  • Work with internal departments to exceed expectations regarding order timelines, customer inquiries, and overall satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in new product launches and rollouts.
  • Develop documentation for new operational processes and workflows.
  • Provide cross-training to foster a collaborative and versatile team environment.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Team to manage customer terms and financing arrangements.
  • Handle invoicing for drop-shipped items and software transactions.
  • Attend and contribute to impromptu meetings as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance during in-person, virtual, and customer-facing interactions.
  • Assist with trade shows and related events as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What does it take to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 to 10 years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM technology, software, and consumables for dental restoration, with a strong understanding of their integration and functionality.
  • Experienced in using Salesforce for logging customer assets, managing training sessions, and tracking technical support cases, as well as maintaining technical records from Equipment Support. Familiarity with ERPs like QAD is a plus.
  • Skilled in utilizing vendor portals for asset registration, tracking implementation dates, and managing warranty renewals and expirations.
  • Hands-on experience managing shipping and logistics for digital equipment from in-house and third-party vendor facilities.
  • Extensive experience with online e-commerce platforms is preferred.
  • Experience compiling user software renewal records and aligning them with renewal deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with staff at all levels, management, and customers, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Effective collaborator within a team setting while also capable of working independently.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn technical concepts through work instructions and on-the-job training. Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and skilled at meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients, with a solution-oriented and customer-focused approach.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a "can-do" mindset.
  • Proficient in equipment software and hardware, with technical expertise relevant to the role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical abilities to address complex challenges effectively.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures and completing on-the-job training.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
