What You'll Do:
  • Analyze MRP requirements and release purchase orders to support manufacturing demand and inventory objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material availability to ensure on-time production support.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding forecasts, engineering changes, schedule adjustments, and quality or delivery concerns.
  • Coordinate receiving activities, resolve discrepancies, and partner with Accounts Payable to address invoice and payment issues.
  • Track supplier metrics including on-time delivery, cost reduction, and overall supply performance.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, materials planning, supply chain, or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic mail systems.
  • Knowledge of the technical features of MRP, purchased products, and components.
  • Knowledge and understanding of theories of MRP, Purchasing, JIT, Kanban, and Lean Manufacturing.
