As we foster a culture of inclusion throughout our company and within our communities, we constantly ask ourselves: What is our impact on the world? We believe building engineering is more than systems and structures, it's about powering progress and enabling innovation. As part of HDR's Building Engineering Services Group, you'll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. From high-performance data centers driving the future of AI to dynamic commercial environments, your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience. We bring together mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you're optimizing energy efficiency, integrating resilient systems, or engineering the backbone of next-generation facilities, your contributions will help define the future of the built environment. This isn't just a job, it's a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence. Program Oversight & Client Solutions * Trusted Advisor: Partner with hyperscale and developer clients to deliver custom frameworks for complex datacenter portfolios, maintaining a deep understanding of their evolving business environments. * Project Controls: Establish core activities including sophisticated project controls, master scheduling, and commercial risk management. * High-Level Oversight: Provide oversight on large programs, occasionally acting as the Lead or Principal-in-Charge for strategic pursuits. Preferred Qualifications * Education: Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. * Experience: 20+ years of experience in program management or A/E consulting, with a strong background in leading large-scale TMT or tech-related projects. * Sector Expertise: Must have specific experience with datacenters and/or relatable hyperscale tech clients. * Leadership: Proven track record of building and managing professional teams, mentoring staff, and driving successful project execution metrics. * Business Development: Demonstrated success in sales, presentations, and negotiating commercial terms while mitigating risk. * Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and writing skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Travel: Ability to travel significantly (frequently 25-50%) to support program assignments and client needs. * Professional registration (PE, RA, PMP, or equivalent). * Experience in global practice scaling. #LI-BM1 Required Qualifications
