General Laborer - Landfill

Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays

Start Time: 7:00am - done (40-45 hours per week)

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

The Position

Waste Connections is looking for a Laborer to join our team at our Camino Real Landfill location in Sunland Park, NM. This is a full time, long term position with benefits!

Responsibilities Include:

• Sort Co-mingled material

• Cleaning Equipment

• Picking up litter

• General site cleanup

• Washing Trucks

• Container Assembly

• Other assigned Laborer duties

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience.Preferably in a labor type position.

• Capable of performing physical labor including lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly

• Experience operating equipment is a plus

• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
