About the role

This role is for a senior individual contributor in the Content Planning team of the Insights, Strategy and Operations (ISO) organization. It is focused on ensuring the effective planning and delivery of Business and Technology Insights (BTI) content to deliver actionable, objective insights to clients and to support business growth, client engagement and retention.

What you will do :

  • Work with BTI (and other functional areas where applicable) to develop high-impact content strategy for Gartner's mission-critical priorities and client journeys, ensuring content delivers maximum client value.

  • Partner with Insights and Product Analytics (IPA) and data science leaders to harness proprietary data, demand signals, and neural network insights, ensuring content strategy is informed, predictive, and uniquely defensible in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

  • Leverage AskGartner insights and ensure teams ability to understand content taxonomy and metadata to optimize AskGartner's use of content for ideal client experience.

  • Deliver innovation and continuous improvement of the research content portfolio in alignment with BTI and Gartner business objectives.

  • Partner with Gartner's Product Platform team to optimize and enhance Search and Recommendation algorithms and deliver content to support new client experience designs.

  • Maintain an excellent understanding of our evolving client needs and the Gartner products to support their journeys using our content and the touchpoints with other channels (inquiry, interactive tools, conference attendance etc.)

  • Lead execution of content initiatives from identification and ideation, through design and creation, by leveraging best practices in:

  • Process design - design excellent processes and/or optimize existing processes, using convention of efficiency, simplicity, leverage, data utilization, and change management.

  • Process execution - cost management, effective use of resources and feedback in all processes, effective and timely issue resolution, and root cause analysis.

  • Work independently, as well as collaboratively, to achieve results:

    • Develop business cases and scope opportunities for projects/programs to drive content innovation.

    • Create and manage success measurement criteria and analysis to drive continuous program improvement to ensure desired outcomes are measured and met.

    • Design and deliver communications and presentations to all levels of management within and beyond BTI.

    • Guide and matrix manage project teams; coach and mentor project managers and team members for highly effective program management.

    • Support peer teams, sharing expert knowledge and providing training where required.

  • Extensive use of latest technology, including AI, to maximize efficiency and scalability.

  • Excellent reporting, training and stakeholder communications to ensure projects are continuously delivering on purpose and business impact.

What you will Need:

  • Bachelors degree plus 7 years relevant experience.

  • Solid understanding of the technology industry, major segments, trends and technologies, and common vendors, products and solutions used.

  • Significant experience independently managing complex content programs, projects, and processes that demonstrate positive business impact within a complex organization.

  • Experience working with the delivery of advanced, modular content in a major global enterprise context.

  • Demonstrated track record of designing and improving business processes with rigor and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of roles and backgrounds across all levels of seniority.

  • Excellent time management & prioritization skills to effectively manage a diverse workload, multiple non-routine complex projects and deliverables and priorities to meet ambitious deadlines.

  • Experience with content management systems, content production and methodologies.

  • Experience in UX principles and algorithmic driven content delivery platforms.

  • Strong business acumen, able to see the big picture and make complex tradeoffs to optimize outcomes.

  • High fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

  • Proficiency in data and analytics, presenting consumable data using charts and graphics tailored to the audience.

  • Executive presence for interacting and presenting to senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Potential travel to select Gartner events. Overall travel less than 5%.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Technology-centric thinking; understanding how to the use technology (established or emerging, such as AI) to revolutionize and challenge the status quo with proven results.

  • Experience of Generative AI, LLMs and prompt engineering.

  • Knowledge of industry standard approaches to content componentization and modularization.

  • Demonstrated track record managing content and/or product strategy programs.

  • Experience working in a complex and fast paced global workforce preferably in Research, Consulting, or Media industries.

  • Experience leveraging data and metrics to understand customers, content, and/or product performance.

  • Proven project management skills in agile environments.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 120,000 USD - 167,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
