Department OverviewA fast-paced, dynamic environment manufacturing world-class wireless communications equipment for military and public safety customers around the world. Job DescriptionAs the primary on-site technical authority for our new Salt Lake City facility, the Linux System and Security Analyst will serve as the critical strategic bridge aligning local operations with Central IT standards.. The position will analyze, troubleshoot, automate and conduct network and system support while exercising full ownership and decision-making authority over the resolution of end-user technical challenges, including hardware failures and software anomalies. The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time in its discretion. * Serve as the site's primary IT first responder, owning the diagnostic process for complex infrastructure issues and exercising full autonomy to implement system-level fixes or trigger escalations to ensure uninterrupted Production continuity. Preferred Qualifications * Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. * Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT-related field. * Minimum Experience: 5 years of Mid Level Linux-related and Networking experience. * U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. * Ability to work 100% on-site. * Ability to travel extensively to Los Angeles for training during the initial months of the role.
