What You Will Do as a Supply Planner:

As a Supply & Demand Planner at OOBE, you will lead demand planning initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and supply chain efficiency. This role is instrumental in shaping strategic business decisions, partnering with Program Management, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics to create a best-in-class demand planning framework. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical expertise, experience leading cross-functional planning processes, and a track record of continuous process improvement.

How You Will Make a Difference:

Forecasting & Analytics

  • Lead the development of forecasting models, integrating statistical techniques, historical data, and analytics to drive business insights.
  • Implement and refine forecasting strategies to support long-term planning and risk mitigation.
  • Evaluate and improve forecast accuracy by analyzing demand trends, external market influences, and business intelligence.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Partner with Operations & Supply Chain teams to enhance inventory management strategies, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
  • Identify and implement planning solutions, improving efficiency and accuracy in supply chain planning.
  • Monitor inventory KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvements and reporting to leadership.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Drive the S&OP process, aligning demand forecasts with financial targets and business strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for demand planning insights in discussions.
  • Mentor junior demand planners, sharing best practices and driving knowledge-sharing across teams.

Process Improvement

  • Lead the implementation of planning system enhancements, integrating advanced analytics tools and automation to improve efficiency.
  • Identify and drive adoption of best-in-class forecasting methodologies and planning solutions.

Reporting & Communication

  • Develop and present high-impact demand planning reports for executive leadership, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.
  • Identify potential demand risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

Skills for Success:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, merchandising or related forecasting roles.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in demand planning and ERP software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; familiarity with statistical modeling techniques preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated collaborative approach to problem-solving and fostering cross-functional relationships.
