Fabricator - MST

Performs layout and fits up work using fixtures or positioners
* Welds various metals using Pulsed MIG, Short-arc MIG or Submerged arc processes
* Uses MIG welder to assemble fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production
* Operates the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment to the supervisor
* Produces strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous and consistent
* Follows required procedures and uses appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process
* Performs a variety of brazing functions encompassing all materials
* Performs hand grinding and forming work as needed
* Cleans and maintains an orderly work area
* Communicates effectively with others
* Assists other individuals in area when needed
