AWS Cloud Developer:

- need a developer who can code and process data. Develop and maintain data ingest pipelines. Process high-volume financial data from multiple external sources. Can independently code + query data

- must have strong SQL skills, Python and some C#

- AWS serverless services. Databases (Redshift, RDS, SQL Server, Postgres)

- ETL processing, Data validation / troubleshooting, Enhancements + maintenance

- AWS Cloud Developer cert REQUIRED. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

- Parsing data from multiple formats, Building/modifying pipelines, Handling schema changes

- AWS-certified hands-on developer. Strong SQL + data pipeline experience

What You Will Do:
* Serve as a member of an Agile team to provide engineering support and maintenance of services and processes that migrate and promote data and algorithms to the AWS cloud environment and supporting cloud databases.
* Design, code, test and implement AWS cloud-based solutions
* Work with the customer and Peraton team on requirements gathering and task estimation.
* Perform routine data checks, code development and quality checks.
* Support database planning, design and implementation
* Support systems analysis, design and implementation
* Support code reviews and cloud deployments
* Provide regular status updates on progress both within the Agile framework and via weekly status reporting.

Required qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science and 5 years of experience or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of experience
* Familiar with tools such as AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Git, Jenkins, EC2, Step Function, Hive, Glue Catalog, Spectrum, Athena, S3, SNS SQS
* Experience with Python, XML
* Strong experience in analyzing and designing data migration strategies to load data from on-perm data warehouse to cloud data warehouse (Redshift and RDS).
* Experience in ETL process using AWS resources
* Industry XML data exchange message formats, required modifications, or extensions
* Experience/knowledge of XML, FIXML, or FPML is a plus
* AWS developer certified
* Financial Industry experience is a plus
* Must be US Citizen able to obtain CFTC clearance and cannot start before cleared.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Active Public Trust or other active clearance
* Masters degree in business, finance, computer science, statistics or related field and 2 years of experience
* Bachelors Degree is a plus
* Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
