ABOUT THE JOB:

This job is responsible for being a dynamic and analytical leader to collaborate with functional and field leadership to drive key strategic initiatives that will fuel or organization's growth for the future. Focusing on ideation, evaluation, and execution of high-impact, cross functional value drivers and enablers that enhance our value proposition, customer experience and financial performance, you will work on a variety of projects such as M&A pipeline management, due diligence, integration, market analysis, adjacent market entry, vertical strategy, product positioning, sales coverage optimization, logistics optimization and capital allocation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Business Strategy/Development:

    • Identify and develop new strategic business initiatives to drive top-line growth and margin expansion in coordination with senior team.
    • Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and industry trends. Assess comparable companies, precent transactions and potential acquisition targets. Research industry sectors and market insights.
    • Collaborate and establish strategic partnerships with cross functional teams to align project goals and business objectives.
    • Frame situations, using high quality materials, including pitch decks, collaboration agreements and other related partnering collateral to leverage appropriate resources and chart path forward.
    • Participate and engage with mergers and acquisitions.




  • Business Analytics & Financial Modeling:

    • Utilize financial data modeling techniques for forecasting, valuation and decision making process.
    • Apply statistical modeling and analysis to derive insights from big data.




  • Project Management:

    • Lead, assist or project manage large scale, complex or high impact initiatives to drive successful outcomes.
    • Direct and coordinate critical company transformation initiative, including prioritization of projects, development of business cases, strategic charters and supporting implementation plans in coordination with relevant business leaders.



EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience:



  • Minimum Required Education level: Bachelor Degree
  • Preferred Education Level: Bachelor Degree: Master's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance, strategy or general management
  • Years of related experience: 8-10 years in investment banking, strategy consulting or finance



Skills & Systems:



  • Required Skills: strong quantitative, writing and people skills with elevated diligence and consistency in work product; experience in data visualization and BI tools preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with senior leadership effectively
  • Preferred Skills: ability to multi-task in challenging environment; ability to be adaptable with business needs; familiarity with financial statements, financial modeling, big data analytics and statistical modeling, change management expertise in matrix or ambiguous organizational structure

Physical Requirements



  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Eyesight and Auditory Skills must be sufficient to meet safety expectations of the position. The employee must be able to verbally communicate with employees, co-workers, and customers in person and by phone. The employee must also be able to travel to various work environments.
