Shift: The regular hours for this position are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 5:00am to 5:30pm. Job Description: The Production Test Technician III performs advanced electrical and RF testing in support of probe test products. This role is responsible for high-frequency response testing, RF profiling, and operation of test systems for core and custom PCB products. Serving as a subject matter expert, this technician supports production priorities, drives yield and throughput improvements, and mentor's other technicians on testing methodologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-frequency response testing on probe test products, including cores and custom PCB designs and configurations. Conduct RF response profiling, including inductance measurement, frequency response analysis, reflectance, and length matching. Integrate and validate electronic components as part of the testing process. Execute all duties associated with Production Test Technician I and support broader production needs as required. Operate, set up, and calibrate specialized test and measurement equipment in accordance with documented procedures. Develop expert-level proficiency with test systems and serve as a trainer and mentor to other technicians. Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, improve yield, and enhance test efficiency. Prioritize and execute testing activities to meet production schedules, customer requirements, and internal deadlines. Monitor test and quality metrics; proactively address quality issues, defect trends, and recurring failures. Collect, analyze, and interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to ensure process stability and continuous improvement. Read and interpret assembly documentation, including BOMs, schematics, and detailed work instructions. Perform basic mathematical calculations, including tolerance stack-up analysis, to support testing accuracy. Safely handle chemicals (e.g., solvents, adhesives) in compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Work Environment: Ability to work continuously in a cleanroom environment with chemicals while wearing protective clothing (smock, hairnet, gloves, etc.). Ability to work at a microscope for extended periods, up to 80% of a shift, depending on the assigned workstation. Ability to read work instructions and perform both written and computer-based documentation. Ability to push or pull up to 10-15 lbs and routinely lift materials weighing up to 6 lbs. Pay may vary in other locations.
