Shift:

The regular hours for this position are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from 5:00am to 5:30pm.

Job Description:

The Production Test Technician III performs advanced electrical and RF testing in support of probe test products. This role is responsible for high-frequency response testing, RF profiling, and operation of test systems for core and custom PCB products. Serving as a subject matter expert, this technician supports production priorities, drives yield and throughput improvements, and mentor's other technicians on testing methodologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-frequency response testing on probe test products, including cores and custom PCB designs and configurations.

  • Conduct RF response profiling, including inductance measurement, frequency response analysis, reflectance, and length matching.

  • Integrate and validate electronic components as part of the testing process.

  • Execute all duties associated with Production Test Technician I and support broader production needs as required.

  • Operate, set up, and calibrate specialized test and measurement equipment in accordance with documented procedures.

  • Develop expert-level proficiency with test systems and serve as a trainer and mentor to other technicians.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, improve yield, and enhance test efficiency.

  • Prioritize and execute testing activities to meet production schedules, customer requirements, and internal deadlines.

  • Monitor test and quality metrics; proactively address quality issues, defect trends, and recurring failures.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to ensure process stability and continuous improvement.

  • Read and interpret assembly documentation, including BOMs, schematics, and detailed work instructions.

  • Perform basic mathematical calculations, including tolerance stack-up analysis, to support testing accuracy.

  • Safely handle chemicals (e.g., solvents, adhesives) in compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

Work Environment:
  • Ability to work continuously in a cleanroom environment with chemicals while wearing protective clothing (smock, hairnet, gloves, etc.).

  • Ability to work at a microscope for extended periods, up to 80% of a shift, depending on the assigned workstation.

  • Ability to read work instructions and perform both written and computer-based documentation.

  • Ability to push or pull up to 10-15 lbs and routinely lift materials weighing up to 6 lbs.

Pay Range:

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $21.90 and $28.77 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
