Job Highlights
  • Validate customerpurchase orders foraccuracy(Supplier information, Payment Terms,Inco Terms,pricing prior to entry).Coordinate corrections asappropriate.
  • Entry of Sales Orders, and changes asrequired; Workwithappropriate departmentsto resolve any system issues.(Logistics,Regulatory, Export,etc).Send customerorder confirmations/updates.
  • Process Invoicesand correct system issues/errors asrequired.
  • Monitoropen ordersfor blocks, Cash in advance payments, late orders, and other issues that would prevent an order from shipping as scheduled.Research and update asrequired.
  • Coordinatethe creation and maintenance ofcustomermasterdata.Follow-upwithSalesTeam and Customers to obtain required documentationfor setup.
  • Coordinatetax certificates with tax department for proper order processing.
  • Research/support withaccountreceivable discrepancies.
  • Process returns, credits, and debits asrequired.
  • Support with Customer Serviceprojects as assigned.
Experience / Skills
  • Associates Degreeor higher preferred; AHigh School Diploma with min 2 years work experiencein a manufacturing environmentusingSAPwould be considered.
  • The position requires strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, persuasion, negotiation and conflict resolution skills are critical.
  • Proficient working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) in a manufacturing environmentrequired.
  • Experience with transportation/logistics and exports preferred.
  • International logistics operations experience and knowledge of export compliance regulations are a plus.
  • Functional knowledge ofWord,Excel andOutlookis desirable.
