Position Summary

Support the strategic growth and global positioning of NYU Abu Dhabi's visiting student program as a premier study away destination within the NYU network. Advance recruitment and yield strategies across NYU's global campuses in partnership with the Director of Global Outreach and Programs by engaging academic programs, student organizations, and institutional partners in Abu Dhabi, New York, and Shanghai. Drive visibility and interest by managing the development and execution of robust outreach initiatives, high-touch engagement events, targeted yield programming, and strategic presentations. Oversee the creation of outreach materials and advising resources while managing social media channels that generate up to two million annual engagements. Lead the planning and execution of events, including logistics, budget oversight, and cross-functional coordination in close partnership with counterparts across New York, Shanghai, and Abu Dhabi campuses. Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with student organizations, academic advisors, internal University programs, and external partners to expand program visibility, strengthen recruitment pipelines, and drive sustained enrollment growth.



Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years experience in marketing, communications, outreach, or coordinating student-facing programs or initiatives, including demonstrated experience supporting strategic planning and program growth. Proven track record of developing and executing engagement strategies, campaigns, and communications that drive participation and measurable outcomes. Experience creating digital and visual content using design and communications tools (e.g., Canva, presentation design, and social media platforms).

Preferred Experience:
5+ years Experience working within a higher education or global university environment. Familiarity with NYU Abu Dhabi's academic programs and student experience. Experience working across global or multi-campus settings, particularly in Abu Dhabi, New York, or Shanghai. Regional knowledge of the UAE or broader Middle East context.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders across global environments and translate complex information into clear, accessible, and compelling messaging across in-person and digital platforms. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute social media strategies, including content creation, audience engagement, and performance analysis, and to apply data-driven insights to improve outreach effectiveness and recruitment outcomes. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate detailed logistics in a dynamic environment, along with the ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships across teams and functions. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to travel domestically or internationally as needed.



Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $90,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
