Senior Practice Development Leader

RK&K is seeking a dynamic Senior Practice Development Leader to lead projects across all service areas in our Charleston, SC office. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to expand and enhance our full suite of engineering and construction management services while continuing to grow a highperforming team to support existing and future clients. This individual will build upon our established portfolio in the low country, coastal South Carolina and the RK&K network.

Essential Functions

• Manage existing contracts and multidisciplinary project assignments
• Market RK&K's broad range of engineering and construction management services to both existing and new clients
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage a diverse technical team across multiple service areas
• Lead multidisciplinary project pursuits
• Collaborate with other RK&K disciplines to deliver integrated, comprehensive solutions
• Work with RK&K managers locally and firmwide to identify and capitalize on opportunities across multiple market sectors

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Fifteen (15 )+ years of overall experience in engineering, infrastructure, or related fields
• Five (5) + years of experience leading multidisciplinary projects or service areas
• Demonstrated ability in project management with effective written and verbal communication

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects and managing large contracts
• Effective staff leadership, mentoring, and team development experience
• Experience working with local agencies and townships on engineering and construction management projects
