The Department of Internal Medicine is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. One full-time staff position for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is available in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.This position will provide comprehensive, continuous, and personalized patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations for all aspects of kidney disorders. Provide and facilitate the delivery of care for inpatient and outpatient situations and perform independently or as part of a treatment team. The inpatient care includes acute care work and apheresis on medical and surgical floors including ICU care at UC Medical Center. Position will primarily support the Consult 1 service and work in tandem with physicians, APPs, residents, and fellows. Essential Functions
Nurse Practitioner
Required Education Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. Required Experience Three (3) years nursing experience. Required Trainings/Certifications Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority. Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty. - OR -
Physician Assistant
Required Education Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Required Experience N/A Required Trainings/Certifications Active Ohio Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Physical Requirements/Work Environment
