Engineering Technician

An Engineering Technician is resposible for assisting Process Engineers in creating new products and processes by creating documentation, building and testing prototypes and designing and building related tooling and fixtures.

• Creating product and process documentation: CAD drawings, bill of materials, routings, engineering change orders, standard operating procedures
• Improve existing processes to increase equipment uptime, reducing waste, and reduce quality defects.
• Establish and document new belt fabrication processes under the guidance of an engineer
• Design tooling and fixtures under the guidance of a designer or an engineer
• Run product and process tests including recording data and generating reports.
• Build prototype belt
• Train manufacturing associates in new belt manufacturing processes

• Likely to act as an informal resource for associates with less experience

• 5-7 years of experience
• No degree requirements
• Industrial Solid Works experience or the ability to receive a Solid Works training certificate within 1 year
• Advanced knowledge of TPU belting product lines and processes
