Innovation Lead - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Innovation Lead for an onsite, contract to hire position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; Farmers Branch, TX; or Phoenix, AZ.

This role is part of a team expanding services for process reimagination, functioning as internal consultants for the organization. The Innovation Lead will manage a portfolio of innovation projects, applying a strong background in process engineering (Lean, Six Sigma) and human-centered design. The ideal candidate will have experience in a highly regulated industry and be able to communicate effectively with technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage innovation activities and a portfolio of projects to meet organizational needs and capitalize on new product opportunities
• Advise management and internal clients to understand the results and implications of innovation initiatives
• Implement and execute the defined innovation strategy
• Apply process engineering, modeling, and business process management (BPM)
• Utilize customer journey mapping, service blueprinting, and systems integration mapping
• Explore Gen AI application to business and human augmentation
• Conduct data analytics and apply design thinking/human-centered design methodologies
• Evaluate and design risk/control frameworks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 8 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in human-centered design or design thinking
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to build requirements with technical personnel
• Expertise in Process Engineering and Modeling
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Management (BPM)
• Strong quantitative, analytics, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired skills:

• Consulting or process engineering background
• Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, energy, insurance)

Pay range: $39.21 - $47.21 per hour
