What You'll Do:
- Drive manufacturing improvements and support production operations through engineering expertise, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support Manufacturing Engineering projects focused on Injection Molding and manufacturing process improvements.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Use a hands-on engineering approach to optimize manufacturing processes and improve production flow.
- Support validation and transition of new products and programs into production environments.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing specifications, technical documentation, and process instructions.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Validation teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve overall performance.
- Review manufacturing costs, analyze material usage, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Support NCR investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiatives.
- Lead or participate in Continuous Improvement projects focused on waste reduction and operational performance.
- Gather and analyze information related to capital equipment needs, ROI opportunities, and production enhancements.
- Create and present technical information, process documentation, and project updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Support customer visits and manufacturing-related initiatives as needed.
- Assist with sales support and product-related manufacturing activities when required.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
- 5-7 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in Injection Mold Processing and Lean Manufacturing environments required.
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or Solid Edge.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Experience creating technical documents and manufacturing process instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and production information.
- Strong computer, mathematical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Creative mindset with the ability to apply modern technology and engineering concepts to manufacturing challenges.
