Sr. Labor Relations Manager Annual Compensation: $150,000.000 - $180,000.00 DOE Location: Remote + 30% Travel This position is bonus eligible up to 10% This role will be responsible for developing and implementing labor relations strategies and programs that support the overall business objectives. This role will serve as the company's primary contact for union-related matters and will collaborate with HR colleagues, business leaders, and union representatives to promote positive labor relations and resolve disputes. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement labor relations strategies and programs that support the company's overall business objectives.
- Serve as the company's primary contact for union-related matters and collaborate with union representatives to promote positive labor relations and resolve disputes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with union officials and negotiate collective bargaining agreements.
- Provide guidance and support to management on labor relations matters, including interpreting and applying collective bargaining agreements and managing grievance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations and keep abreast of changes in the legal and regulatory environment.
- Investigate and respond to union grievances, complaints, and other labor-related issues.
- Provide training to managers and supervisors on labor relations topics, including union avoidance and union-management relations.
- Analyze and report on labor relations metrics and trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with HR colleagues to develop and implement policies and procedures related to labor relations.
- Up to 30% travel may be required
Qualifications: Education & Industry Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field; Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred) and minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and other relevant statutes and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement labor relations strategies and programs that support business objectives.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with union officials.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and union representatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
