Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and/or observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
