About the Job

Position Responsibilities

  • Daily cleaning of stalls
  • Feeding clients animals
  • Water clients animals
  • Wash and disinfect stalls
  • Keep the Large Animal Hospital and Equine Center orderly and clean
  • Bed stalls
  • Help with other duties as assigned
    • Other duties are assigned by Supervisor, Clinician, or Director

Anticipated Hours and Appointment Duration

  • 10hrs/week
  • For 12 weeks
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of proper restraint and comfortable handling horses
  • Flexibility to meet patient care needs
  • Understands and works within clerical scope of the position
  • Communicates in a positive and timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Equine experience
  • Knowledge of veterinary medicine terminology

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $15.25/hr; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
