Responsibilities:

* Provide practical and concise drafting support for various materials (written, video, and audio), to include but not limited to memorandum, strategy and policy documents, reports, standard operating procedures, read-ahead documents, talking points, speeches, graphics, presentations, and meeting summaries

* Review products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency; ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields

* Fact-check and ensure accuracy and quality of organization's material

* Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with organization preferences; evaluate and select content for publication in print media and online, assign topics to writers or work for publishers to improve written materials before publication.

* Educate writers on best practices, identify ways to improve the flow of materials, and advise writers on content pieces.

Required Qualifications

* TS/SCI (CI Poly Preferred)

* Minimum 12 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. This requirement cannot be substituted.

* Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or equivalent substitution per the Education Substitution Table: Associate's + 4 years relevant experience, OR Bachelor's + 2 years relevant experience, OR 6 years relevant experience. Substitution experience cannot double-count toward the 12-year minimum.

The salary range is provided in good faith and is based on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, Federal Government contract labor category requirements, contract wage determinations when applicable, clearance requirements, work location, relevant experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, internal equity, and approved funding.
For proposal-contingent positions, the listed range is an anticipated good-faith range based on current proposal assumptions. Final compensation may vary based on contract award, finalized customer requirements, approved funding, labor category alignment, and candidate qualifications.
