ITS manages the University's core infrastructure, enterprise applications, research computing, cybersecurity, and end-user services. The Microsoft Enterprise Services team sits within ITS's Infrastructure & Platform Services division and is responsible for the platforms that underpin nearly every computing experience at UVA. Position SummaryThe University of Virginia Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Manager of Microsoft Enterprise Services to lead a team of engineers responsible for the reliability, security, and evolution of the University's core Microsoft platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with formal management responsibility. The ideal candidate combines deep Microsoft platform expertise with the ability to mentor and guide a highly technical engineering team. This leader will own service outcomes, contribute directly to engineering and architecture decisions, and serve as a strategic partner to ITS leadership. This position reports to the Associate Director of Cloud Platforms and is based on Grounds in Charlottesville, Virginia with a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management
This position primarily involves sedentary work involving extensive use of desktop computers. The employee may occasionally be required to move or transport light equipment up to 20 pounds Position Type & Work LocationThis is an exempt-level, benefited position.
