Your role

Mission:

Manage customer orders to achieve client satisfaction in terms of delivery, documentation, and technical requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Contract Management - Manage orders, achieving client satisfaction in terms of delivery, documentation, and technical requirements. Provide customer service by anticipating and responding to customer queries as needed. Manage and motivate all resources allocated to the project, therefore enabling successful completion. Your mission will also include raising internal sales orders and to operate SAP Procedures for the release of equipment from our global corporate office in Antwerp, Belgium and in the USA.

Responsible for raising purchase orders with sub-suppliers. Check and authorize invoices. Co-ordinate and expedite materials, documents, inspections, delivery etc. Coordinate customer's expeditors and any external inspectors, including any necessary documentation. Provide production schedules when required. Facilitate order amendments. Keep open lines of communication by attending progress meetings. Generate special payment invoices and prepare manuals (operations and maintenance) as necessary.

Co-ordinate and attend (if required and possible) witness testing. Prepare monthly reports detailing status and issues of all current orders being handled. Monitor order costs and keep management aware of any potential liabilities.

Customer Technical Support - Provide support pertaining to delivery of equipment, drawings, and document submittals. This may be achieved in some cases by getting Atlas Copco Engineering involved as well as any outside vendor engineering that is involved with an order.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in Project / Contracts Management is a plu

Education

High School diploma required with two or four-year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Technical Degree is a plus.

Skills

Must be independent, self-starter, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand drawings and technical specifications preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as in Outlook. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Must display the ability to learn other programs quickly.

Travel

Up to 20% local travel and up to 5% out of town travel

Job location


This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Corporate office in Houston, TX.
