As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $27.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report unusual conditions, suspicious behavior, and/or equipment issues in accordance with site protocols.
• Support emergency and after-hours operations by assisting with evacuations, securing incident areas, and maintaining a visible presence during shifts in varied indoor and outdoor environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
