Job Description
Genomic Science Specialist I Location: Remote Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pay range: $100,000 - $120,000 / year (vary depending on experience and candidate's state of residence) Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Depending on whether it is a part-time or full-time position, some of the benefits offered may include: *Day 1 Medical, supplemental health, dental & vision for FT employees who work 30+ hours We have a position available for a genetic counselor to join our Genomic Services Oncology Team at Quest Diagnostics Inc as a Genomic Science Specialist I. This position will provide supportfor our hereditary and somatic oncology testing. The Quest Diagnostics Genomic Services department consists of genetic counselors, genetic assistants, and genomic client service specialists. All are dedicated to promoting and executing high standards in the development, delivery, support, and promotion of commercial genetic testing. Genomic Services contributes to all aspects of genetic test development from idea to market and beyond; oversees the provision of genetic test support to clients; collaborates with Quest commercial, marketing, operations and health plan teams; and demonstrates Quest's leadership in the genetic test market through such things as scientific contributions, GC student rotations, and thought leadership.
