What You'll Do
Design Innovation & Strategy
- Lead packaging design initiatives across multiple product categories.
- Develop innovative packaging concepts that balance consumer insights, brand strategy, and breakthrough creative thinking.
- Design sustainable packaging solutions that prioritize recyclability, environmentally responsible materials, and waste reduction.
- Create scalable packaging design systems that maintain brand consistency while supporting product-specific needs.
- Design compelling packaging experiences that enhance consumer engagement both in-store and online.
- Utilize modern design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, 3D rendering software, and AI-powered creative platforms, to enhance concept development and workflow efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability, material optimization, and production feasibility.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams throughout the design process.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables while maintaining high-quality creative standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and manufacturing partners.
Creative Execution
- Design packaging for new product launches, line extensions, seasonal collections, promotional programs, and packaging refreshes.
- Develop high-quality 2D and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design intent.
- Maintain packaging design standards and brand guidelines across all product lines.
- Present creative concepts and design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
- Support print production, proofing, and manufacturing reviews to ensure design integrity through final execution.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on emerging trends in packaging design, consumer behavior, sustainability, AI technologies, and visual communication.
- Explore and implement new AI-powered creative tools and workflow enhancements.
- Support onboarding and collaboration with freelance designers, agencies, and external creative partners.
- Contribute to an innovative, collaborative, and creative team culture.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing consumer product packaging for retail environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and experience with 3D rendering software.
- Experience using AI-powered creative tools to enhance design workflows.
- Strong understanding of sustainable packaging principles, circular design, and environmentally responsible materials.
- Excellent visual design, typography, color, and layout skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of packaging production processes, materials, printing techniques, and manufacturing requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Experience collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams throughout product development.
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations for consumer product packaging.
- Experience managing external creative agencies and production partners.
