Key Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 8-hour day shifts No weekends Job Description: Ensures psycho, social, spiritual and bereavement counseling for hospice as well as the provision of volunteers. Plays a key role in the interdisciplinary team for Home Health and Hospice. Principle Responsibilities Oversees a team of volunteer coordinators, social workers and chaplains for Home Health and Hospice. Conducts ongoing coaching, assessment, training and education of staff. Supports recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding process. Holds volunteers and employees accountable for role responsibilities, competencies, individual performance and goals. Maintains scheduling, time off approval and timecard sign-off. Maintains optimal staffing. Oversees the work of the bereavement department that arranges support groups, counseling, community education and more. Oversees Integrative Therapies Department including Massage Therapy and Music Therapy. Works with computer systems to include an electronic medical record and a volunteer services system. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work 5+ years home care and hospice experience 3+ years leadership and supervisory management experience Licenses/Certifications Licensed Social Worker - MN Board of Social Work Valid Driver's License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment Physical Demands Sedentary: Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $48.29 to $66.81 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
