Position Responsibilities

The Net New Mid-Market A&E Sales Manager leads a high-performing sales team focused on new logo acquisition across Ajera, Vantagepoint, and Replicon, including cross-sell solutions. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving new business revenue growth - balancing deal velocity with the complexity and strategic nature of mid-market opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, solves problems with rigor, and coaches reps to consistently execute a disciplined, repeatable sales process. Reporting to senior sales leadership, this role ensures forecasting accuracy, fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and plays a key role in aligning cross-functional go-to-market efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Net New Mid-Market A&E sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, energy, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive consistent execution across a moderate volume of new-logo deals, managing a mix of shorter transactional cycles and longer, more complex strategic opportunities.
  • Own pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and deal progression, ensuring disciplined use of CRM tools and sales methodology.
  • Personally engage on key opportunities, supporting reps through deal strategy, executive alignment, and close plans.
  • Champion a relationship-selling approach, personally engaging with clients and prospects in person where it matters most to build trust and advance strategic deals.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and SDR leadership to align go-to-market efforts.
  • Partner with Sales Development to optimize top of funnel motions
  • Develop a deep understanding of Ajera, Vantagepoint, Replicon, and cross-sell value propositions, enabling the team to articulate differentiated outcomes to A&E buyers.
  • Champion a learning culture - stay current on industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer challenges, and actively share insights across the organization.
  • Identify patterns across deals, objections, and market feedback to refine messaging, playbooks, and team enablement.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of sales management experience with a proven track record of developing representatives and improving team performance.
  • Demonstrated success managing considered, moderate-volume sales cycles alongside longer, complex deals.
  • Proven ability to coach across different selling styles, skill levels, and product motions.
  • Background in B2B software, SaaS, or technology sales.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and a data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
  • A problem-solver with a coach's mindset - someone who builds people up through asking questions, not just giving answers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
  • A growth mindset and genuine love of learning, both for themselves and their team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to build in-person relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling A&E-focused SaaS ERP solutions.
  • Familiarity with project-based ERP, time/expense, or resource management tools.
  • Experience working in a vertical-focused or industry-specific go-to-market structure.
  • Track record of relationship-driven selling in a field-based or travel-intensive sales environment.
