Compensation Salary Range: $22.00 - $23.00 Hourly Tipped/Service Charge Eligible? No Discretionary Performance Bonus Eligible? No Overview The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, including restaurant service, room service, bars, and banquet functions as assigned. This position assists in ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining quality standards, supporting team development, and ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. The Food & Beverage Supervisor leads by example, provides operational support to associates, and helps achieve departmental service and financial goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise the day-to-day operations of assigned food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, lounge, room service, and banquet functions. Ensure associates provide exceptional guest service and promptly address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests. Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and motivating associates to maintain high performance and service standards. Monitor associate productivity and adherence to company policies, procedures, and attendance expectations. Support the onboarding and training of new associates and provide ongoing coaching and development. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily operational priorities, service expectations, and hotel updates. Assist with monitoring labor costs by ensuring proper staffing levels and efficient scheduling practices. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, and alcohol service regulations. Conduct routine inspections of dining areas, service stations, storage areas, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and operational readiness. Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food, beverage, and operational supplies. Monitor and control waste, breakage, and product usage to support departmental cost-control initiatives. Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, Banquets, Front Office, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Support the execution of special events, promotions, and banquet functions as needed. Ensure all cash-handling procedures, POS transactions, and financial controls are followed accurately. Promote and support the hotel's safety initiatives and Accident Prevention Program. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while serving as a role model for associates. Comply with attendance requirements and maintain flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager or Director of Food & Beverage. Qualifications Previous experience in food and beverage operations, hospitality, or restaurant supervision preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
