ABOUT THE JOB

MU Health Care is looking for a high-impact leader ready to take ownership of a critical enterprise function and help build what comes next. This is a newly established and highly visible role, created to lead and elevate Clinical Engineering and Healthcare Technology Management across the health system. The Director will oversee system-wide operations supporting the medical equipment and clinical technologies that are essential to safe, effective care. This role reaches far beyond equipment management. It is a strategic leadership position responsible for guiding service delivery, regulatory readiness, capital planning, vendor strategy, device integration, healthcare technology lifecycle governance, and long-range operational standardization across a complex and evolving healthcare environment. Reporting directly to the Health System COO, this leader steps into a role with real visibility, influence, and enterprise-level impact.

Our Clinical Engineering department is positioned for growth, service optimization, and long-term capability building, with opportunities to expand internal support models, strengthen workforce depth, improve performance tracking, and shape future-state strategy across clinical engineering and healthcare technology management. This is not a role focused on maintaining the status quo. It calls for someone who can lead decisively, think strategically, and move an operation forward. If you are the kind of leader who sees complexity as opportunity and wants the chance to build something stronger, smarter, and more scalable, this is the role to do it.
