Job Summary

The Full-Time Merchandiser is responsible for servicing retail accounts in a safe, productive, and professional manner by maintaining appropriate inventory levels, executing merchandising standards, and ensuring products are properly displayed and rotated. This role supports sales initiatives by building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining a positive brand presence within assigned accounts. The Merchandiser is expected to work independently while collaborating with sales team members to drive execution and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities



  • Maintain product inventory levels and ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and rotated according to established standards.
  • Minimize out-of-code and damaged product issues through effective inventory management and product rotation practices.
  • Ensure company equipment is clean, properly maintained, operational, and presented in a professional manner.
  • Execute merchandising programs, processes, and routines in accordance with company standards.
  • Monitor competitor activities, including product launches, promotions, and pricing changes, and communicate findings to management and sales team members.
  • Build, protect, and grow the assigned product portfolio within retail accounts.
  • Identify out-of-stock conditions, quality distribution opportunities, and damaged product concerns and communicate them to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with retail managers and store personnel.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to execute promotional programs and support large display initiatives.
  • Maintain required records and documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through responsible driving practices and positive in-market representation.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
  • Share best practices and work collaboratively across teams to support organizational goals.


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable personal vehicle available for business use with required insurance coverage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers and present information in group settings.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with smartphone technology and mobile applications.
  • Strong observational skills for assessing inventory levels and merchandising opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional time management skills and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English required.


Work Experience



  • Prior merchandising experience preferred.
  • Experience in retail, customer service, sales support, or route-based service roles preferred.
  • Additional language skills are considered an asset.
