Summary of Job Description:

The Accountant (International & Join Ventures) provides accounting support for international company-owned entities & licensee partners and joint ventures. Responsibilities include managing invoice processing and payments, accurately performing reconciliation in compliance with GAAP and performing month-end close activities. The position also assists with financial set-up for new international store openings, maintains licensees contract data in Workday, and partners with cross-functional teams to assist with accurate, timely reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with internal departments and external vendors to execute invoice submission and payment processing for company-owned international entities and licensee partners.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve departmental processes and support automation initiatives.
  • Assists with month-end close activities for joint ventures and International licensees, including the preparation of journal entries. Performs accurate and timely reconciliations in compliance with GAAP.
  • Supports the International team with financial service set-up for new store openings, as well as contract set-up and maintenance for new international licensee stores in Workday.
  • Provides support to Operations and International Licensee team, including analysis, special projects, and ad-hoc reports as requested.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with coursework in Accounting required
  • Minimum three years of related experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P2 $72,500 - $101,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
