Job Title: Senior Customer Technology Consultant Salary: $138,357 annual Location: 670 Work Street, Salinas, CA 93901 Job Description: Serves as a central point of contact for a defined internal/external customer base to consult, implement and address problems with customers on automation portfolio and/or Company deployed technologies. Responsible for installation and optimization of company's software products and systems at customer sites within an aligned territory. Provide solutions and serve as a liaison between business customers and technology development. Special projects as assigned. Provide guidance to those in less senior positions. Utilize automation tools to provide customer solutions to enhance their shipping experience. Conducts test procedures to diagnose and resolve product performance problems at installation. Provide feedback and customer support regarding product performance. Conduct customer-training sessions on utilization and basic maintenance of system. Manage assigned territory. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of equivalent work experience in computer support or information technology environment and desktop computing. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of equivalent work experience in computer support or information technology environment and desktop computing in lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience. The position requires experience with: RESTful APIs, Web Services, XML/JSON; programming (VB is preferred, other languages such as Java, Python and C/C# are acceptable); SQL, ODBC, and database integration; Networking and Client-Server technology; Strong project management and time/territory management skills; Experience and/or understanding of E-Commerce applications; Understanding of general business applications and services (ERP, order life-cycle management). Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, internal and external associates, and management. Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management. Knowledge of hardware, software, and network. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. Travel: 50% to client's various worksites in the greater San Francisco and Silicon Valley Bay area / Northern California, to provide software consulting, training, onboarding, and implementation assistance to customers. This position will be hybrid in Salinas, CA and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
