You won't just be plugging content into templates-you will take ownership of optimizing the visual layout, aesthetics, and overall user experience of our current campaigns.

Using a structured WYSIWYG/drag-and-drop architecture, you will build out compelling CRM content while ensuring all assets strictly adhere to email marketing best practices. This is an incredible opportunity for a designer who understands CRM to play a key role in an upcoming enterprise-level platform migration.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Email Design Optimization: Review existing creative assets and campaign layouts, using your design eye to optimize layouts, call-to-action placement, and visual hierarchy for peak user engagement.
  • Campaign Building (WYSIWYG): Efficiently assemble, configure, and build emails within structured, templated drag-and-drop architectures.
  • Asset Creation & Manipulation: Utilize Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator to crop, resize, slice, and visually optimize creative assets ensuring clean rendering across all devices and email clients.
  • Platform Migration Support: Build marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) while actively supporting the upcoming migration to a new Enterprise Service Provider (ESP) utilizing DCB components.
  • Quality Assurance & Coding: Use foundational HTML knowledge to troubleshoot rendering issues, tweak layout structures, and ensure flawless responsive behavior.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, brand stakeholders, and agency partners to seamlessly transition components and maintain brand consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Digital & Graphic Design Foundation: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean aesthetic, a solid grasp of typography, alignment, visual balance, and digital design principles.
  • CRM & Email Marketing Best Practices: Practical understanding of standard email layouts, rendering rules, file size optimization, and mobile-first design.
  • Technical Toolkit:

    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for asset optimization.

    • Comfort working in WYSIWYG / drag-and-drop builders.
    • Foundational knowledge of HTML for troubleshooting or updating email code modules.
    • Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar enterprise-level ESPs is highly preferred.

  • Agility: Comfort navigating a fast-paced environment involving changing timelines, shifting weekly hours, and software platform migrations.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
