Job Summary Are you ready to join a collaborative, innovative team dedicated to strengthening leadership, learning, and organizational excellence across Maricopa Community Colleges? If you are passionate about professional growth, employee development, and building strong organizations that support student success, we invite you to apply for the Training and Development Consultant position with the Center for Leadership and Organizational Excellence (CLOE). CLOE supports leadership development, employee learning, and organizational effectiveness across the Maricopa County Community College District. Reporting to the District Director of CLOE, the Training and Development Consultant plays an important role in designing and delivering learning opportunities that strengthen leadership capacity and employee effectiveness across the system. This position develops and facilitates professional development programs, supports leadership and employee learning initiatives, and collaborates with colleges and district offices to identify and address organizational learning needs. Essential Functions 25% - Training Design and Development Designs, develops, coordinates, and delivers instructor-led, virtual, and blended training programs using instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. Conducts needs assessments and collaborates with stakeholders to develop learning opportunities aligned with district priorities and organizational goals. 25% - Facilitation and Program Delivery Facilitates professional development workshops and learning experiences for faculty, staff, and administrators across the Maricopa Community Colleges system. Supports the delivery of leadership development and employee learning programs. 20% - Organizational Development Support Collaborates with colleges, departments, and district offices to support organizational development initiatives that strengthen leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and workplace culture. 10% - Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement Develops evaluation criteria and analyzes program data to assess the effectiveness and quality of training and organizational development programs. Uses data and feedback to improve future learning initiatives. 10% - Project Coordination and Program Support Supports the coordination and implementation of districtwide learning initiatives, events, and professional development opportunities. Assists with planning, scheduling, and communication related to learning programs. 10% - Other Duties as Assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in instructional design, training and development, education, or directly related field and two (2) years of experience in training and development, and assessment or evaluation. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
