Clinical Informaticist (RN) - Hybrid \| Louisville, KY Location: Louisville, KY (Onsite with hybrid flexibility after onboarding) Type: Full-Time / Permanent We are seeking a Clinical Informaticist to bridge the gap between clinical operations and technology. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong bedside experience who is passionate about improving workflows, driving EMR adoption, and enhancing patient care through technology. You'll work closely with clinical teams and IT to optimize systems, support users, and ensure technology aligns with real-world care delivery-especially in high-acuity environments like Emergency Department and Behavioral Health. Key Responsibilities * Partner with clinical staff to improve workflows and optimize EMR usage * Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and IT * Support system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing optimization efforts * Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on clinical applications * Assist with workflow design, testing, and implementation activities * Contribute to initiatives improving patient care quality and efficiency Required Qualifications * Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (KY or compact) * BSN required * 5+ years of clinical experience * Hands-on experience in Emergency Department and/or Behavioral Health (highly critical) * 2+ years of EMR experience (Cerner preferred) * Demonstrated interest in transitioning to Informatics (beyond leaving bedside care) Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Cerner (implementation, optimization, or support) * Experience in clinical informatics, certifications, or degree progression * Experience as a Super User, project resource, or workflow support lead * Exposure to EHR upgrades or system transformations What Makes You a Great Fit * Passion for improving patient care through technology * Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally * Ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions * Self-starter mindset with a collaborative approach Why Join * Opportunity to transition into clinical informatics while leveraging your nursing expertise * Work on impactful initiatives, including EMR optimization and system upgrades * Collaborative, mission-driven healthcare environment * Hybrid flexibility after onboarding Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY.
