Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
Position Summary: Two research assistants are needed in a lab that uses human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSC) and iPSC-derived neural cell cultures as cellular models for studying neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders. The Research Assistants will help with different aspects of the lab work and computational analyses, including but not limited to stem cell culture, neuron/organoid differentiation, cell imaging with confocal microscopes, developing high throughput screening assays, CRISPR gene editing, DNA cloning and sequencing, and single-cell RNA-sequencing as well as computational analyses of the data. One research assistant will focus on web-bench work while the other research assistant will also help with data analyses. The Research Assistants are also expected to help with general lab duties and will have the opportunity to work with the PI on grant writing and management. What you will do:
