This position is primarily responsible for developing a strong brand preference for SAF Holland / Haldex core products with key Warehouse Distributors, OES Dealers, Small O/E accounts, and Fleets. This full scope responsibility includes development of sales and marketing programs, product and sales training, and development of the overall independent aftermarket and maintaining O/E's in assigned territory.
Qualifications Required: Qualification 1: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training in the Heavy-Duty Vehicle Industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualification 2: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Qualification 3: Ability to write professional reports and business correspondence. Qualification 4: Strong presentation skills including responding professionally to questions from groups of managers and customers. Qualification 5: Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Qualification 6: Knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Office Applications - specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Travel Requirements: Up to 75% of the job is spent traveling. | |
