The most significant aspect of the Interventionist role will be providing small group interventions to students who have been identified as having a gap in their reading or math proficiency. The Interventionist will work in approximately 50-minute increments, in approximately nine-week intervals, with small groups of students. Formative data is used to design instruction based on gaps in understanding or misconceptions using district-provided resources.
