Human Resources Assistant: III (Senior) - Leave of Absence (LOA/ADA Support)
Overview

Step into a hands-on, employee-first role where accuracy and responsiveness directly impact real lives. As a Human Resources Assistant: III (Senior) supporting Leave of Absence (LOA), ADA, and related leave processes, you'll guide employees through STD, FMLA, and ADA administration while partnering with HR leaders and benefits teams to keep cases moving smoothly. This is a fast-paced position designed for professionals who thrive on detail, documentation, and customer service-without losing sight of compliance.


Required Skills

  • 1-3+ years of experience supporting leave administration or ADA processes
  • Knowledge of federal and state leave regulations, including FMLA, LOA, and ADA
  • 3+ years of client/customer service experience
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Detail-oriented documentation and strong problem-solving/follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative (self-manager)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite


Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience working with AbsenceTracker
  • Experience working with Helix / ITSM systems


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience level: Senior-level exposure to leave administration/ADA support (1-3+ years) with at least 3 years of customer service experience

  • Work schedule: Standard M-F
  • Location: On-site address in Charlotte, NC (Remote indicated in the posting details), with assignment support as required
  • Contract duration: 3-month contract (extensions possible)
