- Serve as the primary customer contact for municipal accounts regarding service requests, repairs, equipment orders, and project updates.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate service activities, repair schedules, and project timelines with operations and field service teams.
- Prepare and process quotations, proposals, work orders, and purchase orders.
- Monitor project progress and proactively communicate status updates to customers.
- Review bid documents, specifications, and contract requirements for municipal projects.
- Assist customers with product selection, service recommendations, and equipment replacement options.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and project managers to support business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate customer records, project documentation, and CRM data.
- Ensure compliance with municipal purchasing procedures and contract requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and project review discussions as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
What You'll Need:
- Associate's degree in Business, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of customer service, project coordination, inside sales, service administration, or account management experience.
- Experience supporting municipal customers, utilities, water/wastewater facilities, or industrial service operations preferred.
- Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, motors, controls, or mechanical systems is highly desirable.
- Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, data entry, and inspection reporting.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally visit customer facilities and job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
